Captain Kai Aku Shishuna first came up with this idea to sail the seas after she had watched her father sail away on a navy ship when she was no older then 6 years old. Teagan had been Kai’s best friend since before either one of them could remember.
10 years had past since Kai’s father hand left. With in that amount of time that had passed, her bad time in judgment had led her to eat a Devil fruit called The Dark Dark Fruit a few years before and, her the idea of her to sail the seas became a goal to her. She had told Teagan about it but no one else. Teagan had sworn that he too would go out to sea but he would be her navigator if she ever did go out to sea.
With Kai the idea of being like her father sickened her. Even though she was only 16 years old she hated the navy for she had seen them do whatever they liked on the small island she calls home. She always hated them for taking her dad away from her since her father had told her he’d be back in 5 week but 10 years had gone by. She was planning to become a pirate instead. Her idea of a pirate was you had very little to worry other then if the navy caught-cha.
Kai and Teagan had stowed away on one of the cargo ships that were tied up at the docs and were headed for an island just a few days away, only a few days after they had planed out what they were going to do. Being on this ship she had met a young 15 year old girl named Chiko Ai, who had been sold to the navy to heal the soldiers. Chiko joined the two of them with a way to help on Kai’s goal to become the most skilled pirate on the seas as so no one could ever beat her. With Chiko being a thief and Kai and Teagan only stowaways, having their own ship would make it much easier when traveling form place to place. Chiko told the two of them of a swordsman that lived on the island they were headed to that might be of help. They followed. In meeting this swordsman named Zero Hetorie and staying on this island for two weeks, they had found a ship. The royal family that Zero had been working for had left an extravagant ship for him after the last air had died from the paramedic on this island. Zero had no use for a ship nor did he know how to use it, gave it away to Kai to help her with her goal; since she had befriended Ckiko even after knowing her background.
Zero joined Kai’s crew to follow his own goal to be the greatest swordsman that ever lived. Chiko to now had a goal after she had met Kai; to be the best in the art of medicine as for Teagan their was no big goal for him, he had what he wanted and was only on for the ride.
A year later two more had joined her crew; Akiko Shimori and Zukimaru Haru. Akiko had tried stealing from the wrong people and almost lost her life until Teagan had stepped in to help her while Kai helped him the whole way through. Zukimaru was a bounty hunter that tried to take Kai’s head for her bounty along with Zero’s. Kai ended up helping him ever after he tried to kill her. Kai’s crew had personal ways to why they do the things they do but she still helped when she was needed even when she didn’t know who they were…

Personality: Kai is a happy, hyper captain looking for adventure. She’s always lived on her own so she knows how to survive in the world. Kai is one of those people that can make someone's day just by acting the way she does. She knows more about a lot of things then anyone would think she'd know just because of who she is. Kai's one of those people that wonder and she's full of curiosity and that happens to get her in trouble. She speaks her mind a lot!

History: Kai was on her own growing up on a small, fairly cold-weathered inland. (It never snowed though) She had lots of friends and other families treated her as one of their own. As she was growing up, Kai always wondered about the sea, and she had heard of the stories of the treasures, the battles, and the fun. Her father died at sea and that is what leads her to head out to sea.

History: Teagan has been Kai’s best friend since before her father was alive. He to loved the sea but for Teagan it wasn’t the first time he had been out there. Growing up he had been a stow-away on a ship many times over and new much more then Kai on how harsh the sea could be.

History: A noble family raised Chiko, but at the age of 12, she ran away for the reason of is able to study the art of medicine. In order to pay for her lesions she was lead to stealing, and was caught because of her rash decision. She was sold to a navy ship to be forced into healing any wounded soldiers on bored. On bored she leaned many things and with in 3 years met the Captain of a pirate ship; Captain Kai shishuna and her crew of two.

History: Zukimaru use to live in a small town on an unknown inland. He being a bounty hunter took care of a lot of the people there. One day he lost everything and vowed to kill the crew that destroyed the town. He found Kai’s ship when he was searching for this crew and he found them. After this vow had been for filled he gave up his title as a bounty hunter when he was soon seen as a pirate after spending three years on Kai’s pirate ship. Now he is what he once killed for money.
